The characters learn that high school romance is no joke, especially when different misunderstandings complicate things even more. Kenji only attends school because of his feelings to her. Obviously, expect Romeo and Juliet romances across battle lines. Tenma Tsukamoto (the female protagonist) struggles to confess her feelings to her strange and dull classmate Karasume Oji, while Kenji Harima (the male protagonist) loves Tenma. In this sexy show, the war between the sexes has become quite literal men and women live on different planets and consider each other almost to be a separate species, and are at war with one another. School Rumble basically follows the story of a love triangle. The characters' voices may seem funny to you as they are exaggerated (it makes the characters look very dumb most of the time) and there are occasional half-naked scenes. There are many characters and a lot of names, so it takes some effort to remember everyone. However, there's something that you should keep in mind before you dive into it, especially if you are new to anime. Every time you feel the story is about to become serious, it takes a fast comedic turn. Each episode of this anime is totally random, even though it tries to keep following the main storyline. If you get bored of watching long anime series with boring storylines, you should try School Rumble.
